As CNU enters its 20th year, it will be conducting member-led elections for a number of seats on the Board of Directors. Are you ready to directly shape the voice of the CNU? Want to discuss the best ways for CNU to remove obstacles to urbanism, and apply the principles of our Charter? Here's your opportunity, as the Call for Candidates for the CNU Board of Directors is now officially open!

CNU will fill three (3) seats by member election in 2012 and an additional four (4) in 2013. Member-elected Board members will serve two (2) year terms. Elected representatives will have full voting rights and be held to the same level of expectation as internally selected candidates.

Rebuilding neighborhoods, cities, and regions is profoundly interdisciplinary and the Board seeks CNU members with a diversity of personal and professional backgrounds. Member-elected Board seats are open to all current CNU members who have not served four (4) consecutive terms on the board and who comply with all application requirements.

Here's your opportunity, as the Call for Candidates for the CNU Board of Directors is now open through February 17!

Online voting begins March 5, 2012 and will run through May 11, 2012, with a chance to vote on-site at CNU 20. Winners will be announced at CNU 20 on May 12, 2012. Each CNU member will get three (3) votes, one (1) per seat.

For more information, candidate requirements, and to submit an application for candidacy, please visit our Board Elections page.
